It's Hip to Be Square

Yes, that's a scooter. Yes, it's mine. I acquired it recently. I also acquired an inhaler recently (no kidding). Combine these with the fact that I've been spending all my free time reading in preparation for upcoming Doctor of Ministry classes at Asbury Theological Seminary and you get my identity confirmed...I'm a nerd. I don't care. Here are the reasons: 1) The Doc hopes the inhaler is short term b) The scooter is a blast--my cool in laws have taken it for a spin (See pic below), the kids have enjoyed rides from Dad and I like it too and 3) the books have been great too. So, being a nerd is OK. Here is an interesting aside. I would have expected the nerd treatment from others too, but gas prices have me getting more questions about where I got the scooter than anything else. By the way, I got it from a good friend who has had it stored for years. It's a 1984 model. And yes, it gets great gas millage. It should be fun on campus this next year. Now I must grab my inhaler, some books and ride my scooter to the nearest reading spot.
