It's Offical

It's official, my oldest son Carter, whose 13, is now taller than dad. My wife, Leanne, noticed when I was standing behind Carter to help him with his tie and after a few jokes about dad needing a step stool and a quick measurement, it was confirmed.

Carter was wearing a shirt and tie to school because football players are ask to do so on game days. His first home game was Thursday night (Sept 11). Carter started and it was a good game. The West Jessamine Colts (Carter's team) won! The official score was 24 to 8.

Strep has officially moved thru the entire Phillips household-I have had it since Friday (9/12).

Leanne was out of town this weekend on a Beeson Pastors spouse retreat at Shaker Village (pictures are below)

I've been finishing up papers and reading, plus I preached in chapel this morning. So I am officially tired!
